Embarking on a Summer 2018 Trip to British Columbia to Photograph Grizzly Bears
I am jarred awake at 2:30 in the morning by the barking alarm on my iphone.
Time to get up, shower, dress, & eat a quick breakfast before heading off to Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, AZ. My excitement in starting my adventure to British Columbia to photograph grizzly bears and other fabulous wildlife supersedes my deep feeling of exhaustion brought on by less than four hours of sleep. Today will be a long, grueling day consisting of three flights - Phoenix to San Francisco, San Francisco to Vancouver, Vancouver to Prince Ruppert for a total voyage of more than seventeen hours by plane, followed by shuttle bus, ferry, & taxi to reach Eagle Bluff B&B where I’ll spend 3 nights.
